The day will be split into an information session in the morning, followed by a practical workshop in the afternoon. Expert speakers will cover the impacts of feral cats on wildlife, biodiversity and livestock, handling feral cats legally and humanely, monitoring feral cats and how to set up traps.
Landcare Tasmania is working to reduce the impact of feral cats state-wide. Through workshops like these we aim to build the capacity of the community to manage feral cats practically, humanely and within the law.
