UCTV Alive for Kids: Crystals for Food, Flight, and Pharmacy with Dr Nathan Kilah

You may not realise it, but crystals are all around us – often in surprising places! Join Dr Nathan Kilah from the University of Tasmania for this special Science Week webinar on Monday 14 August 2-2:30pm (AEST) to uncover the amazing world of crystals in your food, in medicines, and even in airplanes.

Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions for Nathan to answer live, making it an interactive experience for everyone watching. Whilst the webinar is aimed at Year 5 and 6 students, anyone is welcome to register.

The broadcast has appropriate child-safe protocols in place to ensure a secure environment. There is no video/audio of the interactions from participants, and only the host and presenter can see the questions being submitted.

UCTV Alive for Kids is an interactive online broadcast developed by the Peter Underwood Centre at the University of Tasmania to provide children and young people with fun, extra-curricular learning opportunities.
