Come along and help celebrate National Tree Day by planting native trees at Dru Point in Margate. National Tree Day this year will help provide a habitat for birds, bandicoots and other native animals. These trees are part of a threatened forest type naturally found at Dru Point. There will also be an opportunity to participate in two guided bird walks organised by Birdlife Tasmania. One walk is at 9 am and the next is at 11 am. Bring a jacket, work gloves, sturdy boots and water.
