Too soon or too late? Should we intervene to save species threatened by climate change?

Post-colonisation Australia has a pretty dramatic pattern of species loss. This extinction crisis is now exacerbated by climate change and some species clearly won’t make it without our help. How (or even should) we intervene, or should only the strong survive? Dr Alistair Hobday (@alistairhobday) is a marine scientist who works on climate impacts and adaptation for fisheries, aquaculture and conservation, and he has some questions for us all on how we respond to the threats for Australia’s natural resources and prepare for the future.
