TIA Roadshow – Bridport/Scottsdale: Advancing Agri-Food Productivity through New Technology

You are invited to the TIA Roadshow – an evening showcasing TIA’s latest research innovation that is helping boost the productivity, profitability and sustainability of the state’s agricultural industries.

The event will feature presentations and panel discussions, as well as an enjoyable networking opportunity with fantastic Tasmanian foods and wines.

It’s a great opportunity for Tasmanian farmers, agriculture industry organisations, regional communities and government to find out how TIA is helping grow the farm gate value of the state’s agricultural production.

Highlights of our Scottsdale roadshow include a panel discussion featuring Leon Quilliam (farmer and TIA board member), Theresea Hay (Defence Science and Technology Organisation), Phil O’Keefe (Simplot Australia), and Cheryl McCartie (DairyTas).

TIA Centre for Food Innovation Leader Roger Stanley will discuss Microwave Assisted Thermal Processing potentiality in Scottsdale.  He’ll be joined by fellow TIA researchers, Food Safety Centre microbiologist Tom Ross and Vegetable Centre extension officer Sue Hinton.

Enjoy a range of premium Tasmanian local produce including canapés, wines and beers.
