TIA is hosting its first Field Day at the TIA Dairy Research Facility since the recent farm upgrades.
Presentations and field walks will include:
- Beef production from the dairy herd
- Reducing methane emissions from livestock using Asparagopsis seaweed
- The latest research on virtual fencing technology
- Update on whole-farm systems research using farmlets – an approach to dairy research that is currently not happening anywhere else in Australia
- Nitrogen management
- Tour the new Research Dairy Facility
