The Science Experience is a three-day program of science activities held during the summer holidays for Year 9 and 10 students. Students participate in a range of hands-on science and engineering activities held on campus under the guidance of university researchers, and take part in laboratory sessions, fieldwork, tours of facilities, and team challenges.
The program also provides information about further studies in science, technology and engineering and highlights the wide range of careers that allow students to pursue their interest and abilities in the sciences.
The Science Experience aims to inspire students to continue their science studies, and is supported by the Science Schools Foundation, Rotary, the Australian Science Teachers Association, and ConocoPhillips Australia.
