The Mobile Antarctic Classroom

The Mobile Antarctic Classroom is touring Tasmania this National Science Week!

Play with magnets, pretend penguin eggs, and polarising filters; look at replica and genuine Antarctic artefacts; take a photo in our snow tent; chat to our staff about your Antarctic history and science questions.

Whether you’re in kindergarten or retired, we’ve got something for you!

The Mobile Antarctic Classroom is on tour before the Australian Antarctic Festival (22 – 25 August), presented by the Mawson’s Huts Foundation.

This National Science Week event is supported by Events Tasmania.
