As a finale of celebrations of BirdLife Tasmania’s 50th anniversary year, come immerse yourself in a weekend of bird-related activities on the amazing Maria Island. Maria is a special national park, and this is a chance to see some of Tassie endemics.
Accommodation will be available in the Penitentiary, or in the campsite.
Activities will include:
- Bird photography workshops
- Sound recording workshops
- Bird walks—short, medium and long walks available
- Learn to use Birdata
- Survey for 40-spotted Pardalotes
- Socialise, listen to lectures, join a quiz and more
