Make it Place: Recycled Sculptures

Have fun creating sculptural art from recycled materials – inspired by David Hamilton’s Fragments and Artefacts at the Museum at Inveresk.

Free holiday fun awaits at QVMAG’s Make it Place.

Be part of QVMAG’s free school holiday craft session at the Museum at Inveresk and make your own sculpture using recycled materials inspired by works of local artist David Hamilton in the Fragments and Artefacts exhibition.

You can wander through Fragments and Artefacts exhibition for ideas and inspiration from Hamilton’s sculptural works and drawings. Then, head into the Learning Centre to try your hand at creating your own sculptural piece to take home.

Create your own solo artwork, or create something even bigger with the help of fellow crafters. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination and get creative.

QVMAG’s Make it Place is a free family drop-in event. No bookings are required – simply come along and enjoy the session on the day.
