The City of Hobart invites you to join us at the Hobart Community Day at the Taste of Summer on Sunday 31 December 2023 and celebrate Hobart’s diverse and wonderful community.
The community day is an occasion to celebrate and spread the message of ‘Hobart Respects All’. To come together and play your part in creating a safe city that welcomes everyone no matter their background, race, religion, ethnicity, age, sexuality, gender or abilities.
All stalls will be open, inviting you to taste a myriad of flavours. From sweet treats to savory delights, explore a diverse array of culinary delights crafted by local vendors.
There will be lots of entertainment with live performances from youth and community bands along with cultural performances.
There will be lots of family fun with a range of activities across the site, there will be something for everyone!
Extend the festivities beyond the event and take a piece of the experience home with you! There will be a selection of herbs to elevate your culinary creations! Grab a free herb from our pop-tent and create a delicious meal to share with friends and family. Be quick, there’s a limited supply!
