Presented by Selina Kinne (Dominic College) and Liam Kinne (UTAS Robotics).
The session is suitable for teachers who are new to Robotics and would like to establish a team to participate in the First Lego League Robotics Tournament in November 2017.
Rookie teams can apply for Google funding to cover all costs of their entry into this competition – there will be information about how to apply.
The presenters are experienced coaches of FLL teams and would like to share insights about how to run a successful team.
They will share hints and tips about how to manage a team and prepare for the competition.
There will be resources relating to this year’s theme for the competition and last year’s challenge table set up as a demonstration.
No previous experience in Robotics required. The presenters were rookies once too so they want to share the lessons they have learnt along the way!
This is a combined Google CS4HS/TASITE and UTAS Robotics event.
Suitable for both Primary and Secondary teachers (Years 5 -10).
