Final Sound in Space for 2026: Susannah Coleman-Brown with Thomas Mitchell

Hive’s 2026 Sound in Space series comes to a close with a special duo performance from Susannah Coleman-Brown and contemporary bluegrass and folk artist Thomas Mitchell.
For this performance, Susannah will premiere a suite of original songs arranged for voice and two acoustic guitars. Her soulful, expressive vocals and storytelling combine with Thomas’ contemporary bluegrass influences and intricate guitar work to create a stripped-back, richly textured sound.
Susannah has performed across Australia and internationally, collaborating with artists including Shane Howard, Lou Bennett, Kutcha Edwards and Alex Pertout. Her music spans folk, roots, blues and jazz, and has featured in film and television including ‘One Perfect Day’ and ‘The Kettering Incident.’
Inside the planetarium dome, their music will be paired with immersive visuals for one final Sound in Space experience for 2026.
One day only – Sunday 18 October, with shows at 1pm and 3pm
