Family Science Day at Hive returns with a showcase of amazing species survival themed science activities for National Science Week. The program includes mini-workshops, extra planetarium shows and an expo of Tasmanian Science.
Hive’s Science Centre will be overflowing with interactive experiences for all the family, with pop-up stalls by scientists and ecology organisations from across Tasmania.
We will also be joined by four of the incredible Young Tassie Scientists with varying specialisations, who will be presenting a range of hands-on activities.
…and don’t forget there will also be the crowd-favourite Derby Track to test your car engineering skills!!
There are also five planetarium shows scheduled hourly from 11am to 3pm.
