Join the Tasman Landcare Group for opening night of the Dunalley & Tasman Dirty Weekend at the Port Arthur Lavender Farm.
Listen to our guest speakers present on factors affected by soils and celebrate with some ‘dirty’ mud cake!
Daniela Brozekcordier, ‘Water in the landscape’. A presentation on how water and nutrients cycle through the landscape at the macro and micro scale and what it means for land management.
Dr Kerry Bridle, UTAS – Launch of – Common grasses of Tasmania, A field identification handbook and presentation on pasture grass identification.
The Port Arthur Lavender Farm will be staying open for those who wish to have dinner after the presentations at 7pm. Orders will be taken between presentations with meal served at 7pm. If you would like to stay and purchase a meal please book directly with the Lavender Farm on (03) 6250 3058.
