State of the Climate

The State of the Climate 2020 Report shows that Australia’s climate continues to warm. There has been an increase in extreme heat events, fire weather and marine heatwaves. The Report, released every two years by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology, draws on the latest climate monitoring, science and projections information to describe changes and long-term trends in Australia’s climate.

This online briefing will unpack what these climate trends mean for Australia and provide you with an opportunity to have your questions answered by leading climate scientists from Australia’s premier climate science agencies.
