Chemistry of Fireworks

Fireworks are a staple feature at cultural celebrations such as Chinese New Year, Guy Fawkes Night, and of course: New Year’s Eve. But how well do you know the fundamental chemical principles at play in each pyrotechnic? Come along to one of our two seminars and learn some fun chemistry, and then see it in action in the Hobart skyline!
