Spring is here and the magical world of birds is in full view. To celebrate the arrival of our summer visitors and resident birds, we are hosting an excursion at Waterworks Reserve, led by Don Knowler.
Waterworks Reserve is home to 11 of the 12 endemic Tasmanian species found nowhere else on earth. And most of these birds are not hard to see and hear in the reserve.
Please bring rain/sun protective gear and water and snack for yourself.
We will meet at 9.30am at the entrance to the reserve on Waterworks Road.
