Beaker Street Festival is an annual celebration and exploration of the intersection of science and art. Start out at the Festival Hub at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, a pop-up science bar, for fascinating talks by world-leading scientists, live music in the underground Speakeasy bar, art/science installations and performances, hands-on workshops, zoological oddities, amiable wandering scientists, and seriously good food and drink. For those keen to venture further afield, join the Sci-Art Crawl through Hobart, or the scientist-led tours, cruises, and dinners held throughout Tasmania. Check out the full schedule on the Beaker Street Festival website.
