Mind your step: Tourism in Antarctica

Antarctica may be more closely associated with penguins than people, but each year over 50,000 tourists head to Antarctica to experience the southern continent first hand. Dr Hanne Nielsen from the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies draws on both contemporary research and her five seasons as an Antarctic tour guide to provide an overview of where the industry is today and where it is headed in the future.

As usual, the ticket link will go online 1 week before the event (tickets are free)
