Assessing Cumulative Impacts – Pitfalls, Successes and Next Steps

A symposium looking at the technical aspects of assessing cumulative impacts (what we do now and what is needed for the future) will be held in Hobart 13-15th June.
Understanding cumulative impacts requires a systems approach across a broad array of scientific disciplines: physics, chemistry, ecology, economics, social sciences and more. All of these disciplines have developed their own first steps down the integrated assessment pathway, but amalgamating across those steps is critical for the next round of advances.
