The AIP Tasmanian Branch and the Australasian Society for General Relativity and Gravitation invite everyone to a public lecture, “From Black-Hole Singularities to Cyclic Cosmology” by Professor Sir Roger Penrose (2020 Nobel Prize in Physics). Professor Penrose’s lecture will cover singularity theorems, black holes, and the Big Bang theory of the origin of the universe.
