Ag Careers Evening: Your invitation to a future full of opportunities- Launceston

Did you know that agriculture might just tick all the boxes on your must-have career list? The University of Tasmania, New Zealand’s Lincoln University, and the Tasmanian Government are running an evening for Tasmanian Year 11 and 12 students, and their parents, to talk about why choosing a career in agriculture is not only exciting, but also vital to the future of Tasmania and the world. Come along and hear from young people working in different areas of agriculture and hear from experts in the field about the diverse career opportunities in Australia and overseas.
You will be able to ask questions one-on-one with our enthusiastic scientists and find out everything you ever wanted to know about agriculture, but didn’t know who to ask. And did we mention there’s free gourmet Tasmanian food and drinks too? That should convince the parents to come along. Whether you come from the city or the country, agriculture is for everyone.
So come and see what agriculture can offer YOU!
RSVP This is a FREE event, but to make sure we provide plenty to eat and drink, please RSVP to Kathy Grube at kathy.grube@utas.edu.au or call 6226 6216 by Friday 29 April. We hope to see you there!
The most important bit: Mouthwatering traditional country fare followed by a personal tour of Franklin House and the stables
