After-school STEM Club @ Hive

Join us for Hive’s After-school STEM Club in Term 1 2023!

Sessions will run every Thursday afternoon from 3:30 – 5:00pm from 16 February to 30 March.

Each session will include a short STEM presentation, plus dedicated time for project-work or free play. The Club will include a range of STEM activities including:

  • Using Logic and Basic computer programming
  • Building STEM Kits and controlling them
  • Working on a major project as a group for the community
  • Using approved STEM Websites to learn
  • Help with STEM related homework

Please bring a personal Laptop or Tablet along to use with STEM Devices and Toys. We have limited laptops available for use by the students.

Students in Y5 – Y9 are best suited for the STEM Club however we welcome anyone who would like to come along.

To enable flexibility, you have the option of booking one, or all sessions.

After-school STEM Club will be run by David Robinson. David has worked as an engineer in IT (Information Technology) roles for companies, large and small, including government departments.

Adults are welcome to stay with their children or to leave them, but we ask that they are picked up promptly at the end of the session. If your child is disruptive, you will be asked to come and collect them for everybody’s safety.
