You are invited to celebrate the turning of the fagus, Tasmania’s only native deciduous tree, and be inspired by the beauty of nature at one of Tasmania’s oldest national parks.
This two-day event features PWS guided walks at Russell Falls and Lake Fenton, regular shuttle bus service to view the fagus, Meet the Makers featuring local artisan products, Discovery Ranger children’s activities, a Discovery Ranger night-time guided walk on Saturday, and the Fagus Vegas night featuring live entertainment at the National Park Hotel. On Saturday and Sunday Waterfalls Café will have a range of food options for purchase, including the popular menu, tasty grab and go options, picnic hampers and yummy desserts.
