As of 13 September 2024, applications are now open for the National Science Week Grants 2025 grant opportunity.
National Science Week is Australia’s major national celebration of the sciences, occurring in August each year. National Science Week will be held from 9 to 17 August 2025 and provides the opportunity for community participation in high profile science engagement activities across the nation.
The Australian Government funds the National Science Week Grants under the Inspiring Australia – Science Engagement Programme. There is a total of $500,000 in grant funding available for these grants each year. Eligible applicants are awarded funding from $2,000 to $20,000 for eligible projects that help increase community participation in science engagement activities during National Science Week 2025. The grants are provided through an open competitive, merit-based application process.
Applications will close at 5:00pm AEDT Monday, 28 October 2024.
