Applications are now open for the 2023 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Excellence Awards, celebrating Tasmanians who have excelled in their field.
Now in their eighth year, the awards recognise Tasmanians leading the way in STEM, and inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
The award categories are:
- The Premier’s Tasmanian STEM Research of the Year
- The Minister’s Tasmanian STEM Innovation of the Year
- The Tasmanian STEM Early Career Research of the Year
- The Tasmanian STEM Teacher of the Year for Primary Teachers
- The Tasmanian STEM Teacher of the Year for Secondary Teachers
- The Tasmanian STEM Communicator of the Year
